My blog entry for today deals with my reactions to Encyclopaedia Britannica's announcement that they are ceasing to publish a paper edition. I heard from one Jewish day school librarian about a 4th grade research paper that used only Internet available resources and another Jewish day school that forbids even home use of the Internet.

As librarians we should encourage students (i.e. researchers) to use all the tools available and understand the place for electronic and paper resources.

Read, enjoy and don't hesitate to share the URL, your comments, and/or your ideas for new articles.
