Hi:

There's a new, unique history of Jewish Major League baseball players! "Jewish
Major Leaguers in Their Own Words" is a collection of oral histories of 23
players that begins with Bob Berman in 1918 and ends with Adam Greenberg, who
played in 2005. There are fascinating recollections from Hank Greenberg and Al
Rosen, as well as in-depth recollections from lesser-known players, touching on
important themes in 20th-century American Jewish history such as anti-Semitism,
black-Jewish relations, and World War II, all within the context of baseball.

It is available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and from McFarland (the
publisher). It is also available from me ([email protected]) at a discounted
price.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Best,
Peter Ephross
