Also, a David story about how a spider saves his life when he is in a cave hiding from King Sauland another in which a mosquito saves him from Abner. You can click on the links for the stories; but I don't know of any picture books with them, although I seem to remember reading them in books. One of our early childhood educators is teaching a class on nature and Judaism for kindergarteners and 1st graders. The topic: Why did God make mosquitoes? She has a short story which she can retell in an age appropriate way, but I was wondering if there might be a children's book on the subject. There are a number of books about Tu b’Shevat and trees etc. but anything like the mosquitos/insects? Any help is much appreciated!
