I received the following from an IFLA email. I believe that the topic of
libraries and learning spaces is "hot" and encourage those who can attend, to
do so:

Please share with librarians that may be interested in this program.-----

AARON COHEN ASSOCIATES PRESENTS

---- The Library as an Incubator - Learning Spaces Workshop

A Special Program @ Steelcase Worklife

FRIDAY-- March 22, 2013 -- 4 Columbus Circle -- New York, NY 10019

Our team is constantly thinking about the future of libraries and learning
spaces. Each year, we share our library research with librarians, academics,
architects and facility planners. This year we will be holding these
conversations on March 22, 2013 at Steelcase WorkLife Center in New York City.

The one day program will focus on the library as a learning space. We will
explore new concepts for library design, interior space planning, strategic
planning and fund raising for new projects.

You will learn about new planning concepts including:

*         Service: "Touch Points"

*         Genius: Consultation Bar

*         Production:  Multimedia Design Center

*         Learning Circles

Join us on this important day - share your plans for your library, join in and
discuss the future of libraries and learning spaces.

Register at: http://www.acohen.com/workshops.htm Registration is: $195
Training Fee.

Has anyone seen this group present before? Would they be appropriate for
AJL-NYMA or national?
