No mention of graphic novels yet?

Well, OK, admittedly there doesn't seem to be much there --- and that's coming
from a so-called Jewish graphic novels expert.

However ....

I feel I must mention Steady Beat by "Rivkah", since someone else already
mentioned teen books.

Steady Beat is part of the "AmeriManga" genre - American-made, but folowing the
style of Japanese comics. The protagonist - Leah (not Jewish) is trying to come
to terms with her discovery that her sister is a lesbian. Leah's boy friend
Elijah is an African-American Jewish boy who is living witn his father and his
father's male partner.

Unfortunately, only 2 books were published and Rivkah had meant to write at
least 3.
