Some say: transfer them to mp3 format, and then burn to CD.

Or hang them on a library blog like Heidi Estrin does in the Book of Life Podcast.

 Time-consuming and questionable quality.

Everything takes time. But if you listen to Heidi's podcast, the quality is quite fine. Once you download the free software, get your knitting out and let her rip. I'm a total wash-out when it comes to hi-tech-o, as Heidi can tell you but even I have been able to transfer tapes to mp3 and them into our Intro to Judaism blog (with help from friends, a little blood, a lot of sweat and not a few tears, granted).

And now about those free-bee 5774 supermarket/mortuary calendars! We're coming down to the wire and I think I might have to sweeten the deal. So. Not only do you get handmade fingerless mitts (no two alike, literally...) for sending me anywhere from 1 to a billion calendars, but you also get a hand-written postcard of a totally kitsch bucolic Valencia scene with a real Spanish stamp. What's not to like?

Your mission (your name here), if you choose to accept, is to please send them in a plain brown paper wrapper with a value of Zero on the customs green slip.
You will be adored and remembered for at least while a live and breathe.
