The Association of Jewish Libraries annual conference will take place at the Westin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 22-25. This year the Awards Banquet will be on Monday night, giving attendees a free night to experience Las Vegas on their own. Council meetings have been moved to all day Wednesday with an optional writer’s workshop the only program scheduled that day. Consequently, registration this year will cover only Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and Tuesday breakfast and lunch. Optional kosher dinners for Tuesday night, breakfasts Wednesday, and lunch Wednesday can be pre-ordered. With amazing speakers, exciting awards, and friendly faces, odds are good that this will be an outstanding conference! The program schedule is posted on the AJL website at www.jewishlibraries.org .
