Michelle, I highly recommend a book called "Atlas of Jewish History' by Martin Gilbert. Although it is set up as an Atlas there is a wealth of information on Jewish settlement, migration and movement. It is also a great way to teach map reading skills and children of all ages, especially 3rd and 4th graders love the interactive lesson of learning through reading these excellent maps. I have used this book often which was recently reprinted. Chavah
