I received a query from a today I'm hoping someone can help me with: "Do you know the name of a trilogy young adult book series that was written in the 1980's about a young Jewish woman (or middle eastern woman) who lived during the time of the birth of Israel in the 1960's, who falls in love with a Chasidim or middle eastern man? Theirs was a forbidden love but the stay close during the war in Israel. They lose track of each other, with separate lives but then come together in the last book."
