Hi Safranim,

Our library will be hosting a local author, Paul Boorstin, to discuss his new
novel, David and the Philistine Woman, which is a reimagining of the story of
young King David and was positively reviewed in the Jewish Journal by Jonathan
Kirsch. The author's wife, Sharon, also a writer, told me that she wants to get
his book out to Judaic libraries and would be happy to mail one to anyone who
requests it from her. It is not self-published. Feel free to take her up on her
offer and contact her as requested. Please see part of her email to me below:

>Dear Lisa,

Thanks for offering to share your enthusiasm for David and the Philistine
Woman<http://www.paulboorstin.com> with fellow members of AJL. As you know, my
husband Paul's novel has gotten terrific reviews, but it takes enthusiastic
word of mouth from Jewish influencers like you and your colleagues to get it
the attention I feel it deserves.

Please let AJL members know that I am happy to mail them a complimentary copy
of David and the Philistine Woman<http://www.paulboorstin.com/> if they email
me their mailing address and phone number (required for tracking) to

My hope is that AJL members enjoy David and the Philistine
Woman<http://www.paulboorstin.com/> and recommend it to the book-club members
and fiction readers in their area.

FYI: Paul loves to talk to groups about his journey writing David and the
Philistine Woman<http://www.paulboorstin.com> and the questions it raises about
faith, spirituality and good and evil.

Shana Tova!
