I too look forward to seeing some new biographies of the many extraordinary Jews who have contributed immensely to society or provide outstanding role models for our youth. I recently compiled a list (several pages) of "important" people for a Jewish Heroes unit our teachers are preparing but was disappointed in what is available and many books provide little information on how/if Judaism influenced the subjects' values, goals, perspectives, etc..
