I read with great interest Katherine Locke’s article. I thank Erika for bringing it to our attention. A large portion of the Israeli children literature, that was written in the past decade, is the answer to some of her hopes for books she would love to read and encourage Jewish and non-Jewish children to read. I hope that publishers will consider translations of these books as much as they now accept books for adults. Amalia W.
