Ms Davidson: I don't know what you mean by "original." Below is a link to a 1964 album Jan Bart Sings Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish. I just checked my copy. The slip case does not have printed lyrics and there are no printed lyrics inside. Since the musical opened in 1964, this is pretty close to beginning. There is no indication that Broadway producers had anything to do with translation.
