I did a story telling program for 18 month olds plus all the way to 1st grade and other assorted reading programs through sixth grade. I borrowed props from my children's toy box and also used stuffed animals and puppets to help hold their attention. I had one puppet who came out of my pocket and was very shy so the children had to be very quiet or he wouldn't come out. My puppet didn't speak .
