Almost embarrassed to ask…. Is there a reason to keep the check-out cards – that is, the only version of a list -- of the books that have been culled from our synagogue library collection? They are in NO order, and they are crammed into two overflowing shoeboxes. I’m about to need a third box and frankly, would like to toss them, but the former archivist in me is concerned.
