Is anyone familiar with the book For the Love of Israel: The Holy Land: >From Past to Present. An A–Z Primer for Hachamin, Talmidim, Vatikim, Noodnikim, and Dreamers by Rabbi Steven Lowenstein?
I need opinions on (1) what age readers this book is appropriate for and (2) whether this book would be a good introduction to Israel for non-Jewish readers. I wonder whether it's insider-ish or not. Your perspectives on this book are welcome. I've already read the review from AJL Newsletter but am interested in more opinions. Thanks, Heidi Heidi Rabinowitz [email protected]
