Hi Esther, this is a tough age as I think there is a big gap between middle grade and YA books. That said, I write for this tween audience and my books have been chosen for grade 8 reading lists so you may find them suitable. While my books have varying degrees of Jewish content, I write about modern Jewish characters in contemporary society. My award-winning SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS has been popular for tween book clubs and I even spoke with a group of high schoolers who are taking a class on Jewish ethics and death and dying just last night.
