Many members of our staff and their families have been mobilized for military duty, as is the experience in countless Israeli homes. We share in the heartbreak of the families who have lost loved ones. As many of you know, the National Library of Israel had planned to hold an opening celebration next week. Following emergency meetings, the NLI leadership decided, with deep sadness, to postpone the opening. We, like you, pray for the safety of all Israeli citizens and the swift recovery of the wounded and captured.
