The war that began as an outgrowth of the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel is established in the Library of Congress Subject Heading (LCSH) thesaurus as "Israel-Hamas War, 2023-". The scope note there specifies, "Here are entered works on the military actions that resulted from the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, primarily taking place in Gaza but also other areas in the region. Works on the the land, sea, and air attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 are entered under October 7 Hamas Attack, Israel, 2023." The official war on Hezbollah, with the Israeli name Operation Northern Arrows, also known as the Israel-Hezbollah War or the Third Lebanon War, only started a couple weeks ago, so I'd be surprised if materials are already published on this war.
