Vanessa, For a reading list(not for subject heading) it can be called Israel wars 2023/24. The Israeli media calls it Iron swords (Harvot barrel). The scope note there specifies, "Here are entered works on the military actions that resulted from the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, primarily taking place in Gaza but also other areas in the region. Works on the the land, sea, and air attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7, 2023 are entered under October 7 Hamas Attack, Israel, 2023." The Israeli name for the war, Operation Swords of Iron, is listed as a variant name for this war. (For all relevant subjects on these topics, please see here.)   The official war on Hezbollah, with the Israeli name Operation Northern Arrows, also known as the Israel-Hezbollah War or the Third Lebanon War, only started a couple weeks ago, so I'd be surprised if materials are already published on this war. Recall that literary warrant is a prerequisite for establishing new LC subject headings.
