What about A J T Davie's book - An Introduction to Functional
Programming Systems using Haskell. It is from Cambridge University
Press. I am about 1/2 through it. Looks like it would make a good
text. I have gofer on my HP95LX to try out examples.

I was planning to use _Introduction_to_Functional_Programming_
by Bird and Wadler (Prentice-Hall 1988) for a course I am teaching for
the fall semester (beginning 23 August). The campus bookstore told me
that the book is "out of print" and, hence, not available in the
United States. Is that the correct status of the book? Or is
Prentice-Hall giving the bookstore incorrect information?
