Are you sure Java provides that?

I had a brief glance at the Java Language Specification,
and I didn't spot any construct matching that description.
So I suspect that you may be mistaken.

If not, I'd appreciate seeing a reference, e.g. to the relevant
section of the JLS <http://java.sun.com/doc/books/jls/index.html>.
