Anybody writing MT plugins is going to be doing "use MT::RandomModule" at some point, although one could easily argue that MT plugin writers aren't sane. Few modules are usefully-documented, and it's not always clear to the MT hacker whether a module or function is for internal use only, or whether 6A just couldn't be arsed to document it. And sometimes the only way to achieve a desired result involves using an API you strongly suspect *is* internal. MT is why my local whisky merchant isn't going out of business any time soon.
