That is impressively broken. I would now be curious what happens when Mail.app is configured to only show the text/plain portion, except that Apple "helpfully" removed that option. Apparently I am wrong in wanting to read just the text, and not the dancing hamsters and 72 point purple Comic Sans. > Hate. Likewise.
