Oooh, web sites that auto log you out while you're writing a long post or were in the middle of a multi-step process and wandered away to make dinner or something. And then when you log back in again it's all lost. Hate!
British Airways's ticket purchase interface has (a) a ludicrously short timeout and (b) various UI hurdles that make me think the two problems were deliberately combined to create some kind of website Krypton Factor. In particular there's this gem, which - while not being a stellar example of bad UI - still manages to commit two laughable sins in the space of a few pixels: http://skitch.com/yozlet/bgtsh/british-airways-passenger-details (1: Stupid layout bug, and 2: "please do not enter any phone number punctuation characters as our programmer is far too inept to work out how to filter them correctly") -- Yoz
