There is a hole in our memcache. On flush, the flusher asks the Memcache for
the snapshot to persist. Memcache hands it over and then zeros out the
snapshot. Flusher goes to work but any subsequent gets will not see what was
in snapshot until flusher finishes. Scanners taken out after the flush starts
will never see the edits.
