I haven't been following the progress as much as I'd like. We're using hbase 0.2.1 at the moment, and wondering what are the major improvements in 0.18? Is the better batching of bulk row updates included? Does that cover when using map reduce as input/output as well? Has there been any major bug fix / stability improvements? Just after a quick overview really. I really should read the jira's more often.
