This patch revises javadoc for several classes in the mapreduce package plus a
couple of classes each in common and data.transfer. Revisions for more
data.transfer classes will follow in another patch.
This is only a first pass, fixing typos and obvious errors.
Only two major changes:
(1) The overview is updated with the contents of xdocs/index.html (by way of
src/docs/overview.html).
(2) ErrorType.java includes descriptions consisting of the message number and
text.
