Patch 1 adds readerwriter.xml to src/docs/src/documentation/content/xdocs and
revises site.xml to include "Reader & Writer Interfaces" in the docset menu
(HTML).
This is a first draft based on work by Ashutosh Chauhan. Review comments and
suggestions would be helpful.
