Travis Crawford commented on HCATALOG-132:
------------------------------------------
[~nitay] - I published to https://repository.apache.org
Something that's not clear from [Publishing Maven
Artifacts|http://www.apache.org/dev/publishing-maven-artifacts.html] is if
snapshots are mirrored to maven central, or just full releases. I checked
"hive-exec" since I know Hive publishes snapshot jars, and did not see them on
maven central, which suggests only releases show up there.
You may need to add the apache snapshots repo as a repository in whatever build
fetches the hcat jars. Perhaps its time to start thinking about a 0.5.0
release, which would let us publish artifacts into central. For now, can you
try the snapshots repo?
