Moving conversation to hcatalog-user
No, our goal is not to change the database used to store metadata. It
is to open up that metastore to use by Pig and MapReduce users, as
well as to provide additional table management facilities, such as
notification of when data is available, data management interfaces, etc.

Howl has been renamed to HCatalog (due to naming conflicts with an
existing ow2 project called Howl).
