docelic, do you think now is the time to ask InterServer to replace the 
failed disk?  Is all the critical stuff backed up?

If so, then I would like to solicit the help of the more 
hardware-clued-in on this list, which, compared to me, is probably 
everyone!  What should the message say?  What useful information can we 
include?
