If you would like view CIFTI files generated by the HCP pipelines like rfMRI_REST2_LR_Atlas.dtseries.nii , you can download the HCP's viewer Connectome Workbench (and associated tutorials) at http://humanconnectome.org/connectome/get-connectome-workbench.html
Currently, Workbench is the only visualization software that supports the CIFTI file format. I've try to open it in some viewers (fslview, freeview, mricron) without success (bad header info).. * also I've try to load the file named rfMRI_REST2_LR_s2.atlasroi.L.32k_fs_LR.func.gii into matlab using gifti toolbox (v1.2). if I've understand well it corresponds to the fMRI time-series sampled over a high resolution freesurfer surface. it seems to work, but when I display the gifti object I've only one field named cdata corresponding to a vector (32492x1) with no temporal info? when I'm look at the 'this' variable ouptut of read_gifti_file_standalone.m within gifti.m it seems that the command 'this = class(this,'gifti');' loses the temporal info? * and finaly, is it normal that the file rfMRI_REST2_LR.nii.gz, who represents the preprocessed 4D volumes, shows strong distorsions particularly in frontal/temporal lobes? this is probably due to biais correction? many thanks for your help!! -- Arnaud Messé, PhD Laboratoire d'imagerie fonctionnelle - UMRS678 IHU-A-ICM Falculté de Médecine Pierre et Marie Curie - Pitié-Salpêtrière 91 boulevard de l'Hôpital F-75634 Paris Cedex 13 +33(0)1538284 03 (fax: 48) [email protected] http://www.imed.jussieu.fr _______________________________________________ HCP-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.humanconnectome.org/mailman/listinfo/hcp-users _______________________________________________ HCP-Users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.humanconnectome.org/mailman/listinfo/hcp-users
