There is no overt spatial smoothing of the volume data in the fMRIVolume part
of the functional pipeline and there is minimal 2mm FWHM surface smoothing that
is done to regularize the surface in the fMRISurface part of the functional
pipeline. ICA-FIX adds no smoothing.

Subject: [HCP-Users] spatial smoothing of HCP ICA-FIX-Denoised rfMRI data

Dear Sir or Madam,

I want to make sure whether any spatial smoothing is used for the HCP ICA-FIX
denoised resting state fMRI data? It is preprocessed with the v3.1 functional
and v3.1 ICA-FIX pipelines.

I read the manual
http://www.humanconnectome.org/documentation/S500/HCP_S500_Release_Reference_Manual.pdf

it seems there is no spatial smoothing used for this resting state data.

Hope to get a confirmation.

Thanks,

Best,
Hai Shu
