Dear all,
does anybody knows why after successful compiling of the example code
dsetexample.f90 provided, I get this error message concerning the data type ID?
./dsetexample
HDF5-DIAG: Error detected in HDF5 (1.8.8) thread 0:
#000: H5D.c line 143 in H5Dcreate2(): not a datatype ID
major: Invalid arguments to routine
minor: Inappropriate type
HDF5-DIAG: Error detected in HDF5 (1.8.8) thread 0:
#000: H5D.c line 391 in H5Dclose(): not a dataset
major: Invalid arguments to routine
minor: Inappropriate type
I used
gfortran -o dsetexample dsetexample.f90 -I/sw/include -L/sw/lib -lhdf5
-lhdf5_fortran
on MAC OS X, Version 10.7.2. I installed hdf5.7-gfortran using fink.
