It's actually line 435. I had to remove a few lines in your file previously to account for the wrong input file you sent, and so it was line 427 in my modified file.

You are creating this dataset right after file create: dset37 = H5Dcreate(file, DATASET37, H5T_IEEE_F32BE, space37, H5P_DEFAULT, H5P_DEFAULT, H5P_DEFAULT); no intermediate groups have been created yet. The solution is simple, just create the groups before this call! You can use the search utility in your editor to look for dset37 and where it is created to fix this problem.
