[~aw], can you comment on this? I remember you felt strongly about the library
name.
I don't particularly mind what this is called, but I would like to avoid
something confusingly similar to the existing "libhdfs". I also don't like the
"\+\+" proposals because plus signs are a special character that creates
problems in a bunch of places, and because this library will be usable from C
as well as C\+\+.
I still like the "libndfs" proposal but I'm open to other ideas.
