Jakob Homan commented on HDFS-8155: ----------------------------------- bq. I agree when an initial authentication like Kerberos/SPNEGO is passed, a DT will need to be generated and passed to the server in all subsequent usages. Why would it need to be? A backing store could accept a delegation token, or the datanodes could continue to accept the SPENGO/Kerberos credentials or OAuth tokens. DTs are one option, but I do not want to rule out datanodes/datanode-like-servers accepting standard credentials. > Support OAuth2 in WebHDFS > ------------------------- > > Key: HDFS-8155 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/HDFS-8155 > Project: Hadoop HDFS > Issue Type: New Feature > Components: webhdfs > Reporter: Jakob Homan > Assignee: Kai Zheng > > WebHDFS should be able to accept OAuth2 credentials. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.3.4#6332)
