Why would it need to be? A backing store could accept a delegation token, or 
the datanodes could continue to accept the SPENGO/Kerberos credentials or OAuth 
tokens.  DTs are one option, but I do not want to rule out 
datanodes/datanode-like-servers accepting standard credentials.
