Arpit Agarwal updated HDFS-8681:
--------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Fix Version/s: 2.7.1
Status: Resolved (was: Patch Available)
The test failure looks unrelated and I fixed the whitespace issue on commit.
The checkstyle issue can be ignored, adjacent lines in the same file are all
over 80 characters. Perhaps we can clean up the file in another commit.
Thanks for the reviews [~szetszwo] and [~jnp]. Committed for 2.7. Also thanks
for reporting this [~andrew.wang], good catch.

> This code is used to check whether the block scanner is enabled:
> {noformat}
> public boolean isEnabled() {
> return (conf.scanPeriodMs) > 0 && (conf.targetBytesPerSec > 0);
> }
> {noformat}
> Unfortunately, when this was introduced, we did not change the default scan
> period's value of 0, which means by default the BlockScanner is disabled.
