[~wheat9], I'd like to take this ahead to the completion. As per the offline
discussion, am attaching a patch. I hope I've addressed the above comments.

Following are the major changes:
- I feel {{provider.getMetadata()}} is not required to do twice as the
'provider' has {{provider.warmUpEncryptedKeys(keyName);}} warming up logic.
Does this sound good to you ?
- modified few codes under the lock section.
- rebased in latest trunk code
