Thanks for the review, Nicholas! This is a good catch. Will update the patch to
fix this.
bq. the type of RecoveringBlockProto.blockIndices should be optional bytes.
To fix this we may also want to change LocatedBlockProto.blockIndex to make
them consistent. How about keep the current implementation and change all the
places in a separate jira?
