Thanks for working on this [~Sammi]. This seems like a good time to revisit the
create API. How do you feel about a builder-based API? Otherwise, it's quite
difficult for users to correctly fill in all the different parameters.
This refactor is something we could work on in a separate JIRA first to reduce
the scope of the changes.
