Thanks [~anu] for writing up and updating the doc and all for the discussion. A
few more comments:
1. In section 1.2 for put key, can we change the the input data (with -i
instead of -o)?
2. Can we move section 5 (Pipleline) before section 2 (Container) which has
dependency on the Pipeline?
3. We don't want to maintain empty pool without any nodes. In section 3.1, can
we add a require parameter for -nodes <node1|...> create pool while keeping the
separate adding/removing command? When the number of nodes in a pool reaches 0,
the pool will be removed as well.
4. In section, can we add an optional -metric parameter to filter only metrics
that are interested?
5. Can we change 4.3 with a node list command with filter by status (default =
All)
hdfs scm -node list <status=All|Healthy|Stale|Dead|Decommissioned>
6. Section 6.1, NIT: maybe change the info command to report command like "hdfs
dfsadmin report"?
