We want to stabilize the API before BETA 1, that includes API names. I'm not so 
comfortable in methods like {{getEcPoliciesOnDir}}, because in most cases in 
existing codes we preferred to use {{EC}} or {{ErasureCoding}} over {{Ec}}.
