Chen Liang commented on HDFS-12475:
-----------------------------------

Hi [~cheersyang], what I meant by "sharing with WebHDFS" was that WebHDFS seems
to be the main user of this datanode http server (which listens on this port)
for transferring data. And the point of this ticket is to make this clear in
the doc, because all over the doc we use addresses like 127.0.0.1:9864, but
this won't work for users who have changed the datanode http port setting. So
we should just make this note clear in doc and let the user know that they need
to use whatever port they set instead.

You are right, it is more clear to say datanode http port, rather than
mentioning WebHDFS for more confusion. Will update the title and description.

> Currently Ozone's REST API uses the port 9864, all commands mentioned in
> OzoneCommandShell.md use the address localhost:9864.
> This port was used by WebHDFS and is now shared by Ozone. The value is
> controlled by the config key {{dfs.datanode.http.address}}. We should
> document this information in {{OzoneCommandShell.md}}.
