Change LGTM, thanks Xiao for the additional fixup. Compilation error was due to
YARN-7180 which has been reverted. I can do the commits.
Debugging this was mostly luck. I stared at it for a while and had no ideas,
and stepped through it with a debugger and saw some error for toString.
