The only thing missing in the Maven build is wiring the native testcases.
Which (the native testcases) have been broken in trunk for a while, HDFS-2224.
Would it be OK to move forward with HDFS-2096 and then fix HDFS-2224 on top of
Mavenized HDFS? (more than fix is implement the native test invocation).
What we also have to do is to make the test-patch script to work on commons or
hdfs to run just the testcases of either commons or hdfs.
