I think it would be great to have the ErasureCodingPolicyManagerMBean that you
implemented here, [~lewuathe].
Do you plan to continue working on this?
The BlockManager#getTotalStripedBlockGroups and
BlockManager#getTotalStripedBlockSize metrics are not needed anymore, because
HDFS-12573 already implements those (in BlockManager#getTotalECBlockGroups),
but the rest of the patch would be very useful to have. Also it would be nice
to extend TestNameNodeMXBean#testEcPolicyManagerMetrics with a check for
getActivePolicies.
