Thanks [~msingh], for updating the patch. The patch looks good to me.
We should also trigger a pipeline close event in case a node is marked stale by
SCM as it may happen that Ratis would keep on working normally but SCM detects
one of the nodes to be stale. This can be addressed as a separate Jira.
