You are saying suppose if ozone is upgraded from 0.3 to a new version, we will
show the metrics value wrong. I think still ozone is an alpha release, and it
has only one version released so I think it would be okay. To consider this
case, if the file is not available we need to iterate the key table. As we
still don't have an upgrade path to detect if file does not exist means,
whether it is first-time ozone start or it is an upgraded ozone cluster from
the old release. (And also I don't think there are any production clusters with
ozone currently.) Let me know your thoughts?
